I guess the raccoon family will have to find another home (I hope they weren't in it when it fell into the creek!)

Amazingly, we didn't hear this tree fall – must've happened during the Steelers game. We had closed the windows so we could hear the game – the 50 mph winds were really roaring through our valley.

[That sounds indifferent… but we were pretty sure we weren't actually in any danger from the storm – it was only very strong winds, and our house is brick.]
