Today was a great day!
Today was the monthly Pittsburgh SharePoint User Group meeting, where I discovered that we do have the ability to Search our intranet site without buying the mega Search license thing from Microsoft. It’s part of the standard MOSS 2007 CAL! I just didn’t know how to enable / configure it… but now I do. I did a basic configuration this afternoon after getting back to the office, and it’s so cool! I let everyone know about it right away.

Also, when I got back to my desk, the mail had just come, and in it was the letter from PCI congratulating us on becoming a certified plant! Woo hoo! Now we’ll get the respect we deserve!
