Well, Boo for having to fork over more money to Uncle Sam, only to have it frittered away in the desert… but on the other hand, I sort of like sitting down at the end of the year (yes, I know it's April…) and seeing where the money went.
Not so happy about 1/4 being taxes, but it could be worse. 2008 should be better regarding Education, since child #1 was done in December. And I'm happy that we were able to give away 11% – should be able to do more next year with the lower tuition bills (although now I guess we're throwing in a trip to Oz, so there goes the Travel budget!).
