I’ve been writing a new series of blog posts on the Lightning Tools site, as part of my Technical Evangelist role. It’s a detailed look at each of the built-in web parts available for modern SharePoint pages in SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2019.

For example, today’s post was about date-related web parts: Events, Group Calendar, and Countdown Timer. I’m enjoying learning more about each web part as I poke around at all the options so I can write about them.

Eventually, when I’ve written about each web part, I plan to wrap up all of the posts into an eBook, which of course will need to be kept up to date with the frequent changes and additions Microsoft makes. I think it’ll be a useful resource, as I’m going into more detail than the Microsoft documentation.
