(1) My Civic Hybrid turned 100,000 miles as we turned into our street on our way home from (2) buying our first digital camera. Just in time for me to take a pic of the big event 🙂
So now I don't have to use one of the kids' cameras, and so far I'm really pleased with our choice (a Panasonic DMC-LZ5 purchased with Christmas gift money). I expect to have more photos to post now (lucky you).
I see that my little car was born on January 1, 2003, so that's cool that it hit its milestone nearly on its birthday (a little anthropomorphism never hurt anyone). Not a bit of trouble with it either, other than the 5 accidents … which just means that it's had its body replaced bit by bit, so I fully expect it to last another 100K at least!
Congratulations, on both the digital camera and the hybrid milestone! I hope They (whoever They are) come out with a hybrid minivan into which I may pile the four children. Until then, it's hybrid wishes and biodiesel dreams for me.
