Last night we decided to get an earlier start to our workday today, to try to beat the brutal heat (it’s been getting to the upper 90’s by mid-afternoon, under a blazing sun… humid, too). So we asked our chefs for breakfast at 6:30, and they cooked us up a delicious meal of scrambled or fried eggs and bacon, along with extras of cereal, pop tarts, bagels, bananas, and zucchini muffins. Plus, we got our daily “dose” of the Bible in a little medicine cup with a life saver: 1 Cor 15:58, “…Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” Such a good start to a day of work!
